The areas surrounding Rocky Mountain National Park and Longs Peak provide many wildlife viewing opportunities.

Remember that these animals are wild and should not be fed. Doing so causes dependence on humans and lessens their changes of survival, especially in the winter months when humans are simply not around to feed them.

Keep in mind, also, that the larger animals should be viewed from a safe distance.
